We are looking for a WAREHOUSE WORKER to join our team here at Booksavers. We are dedicated to the worldwide mission work of Mennonite Central Committee. We raise funds by selling and recycling used books to provide relief, food, water, health, education, and peace, all in the name of Christ.
The ideal candidate will work 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with a 6-month probation period. If the candidate is found to be a good fit, promotion to manager will follow.
Job responsibilities include sorting and organizing donations, picking up donations from schools, overseeing the recycling program, and keeping a safe and clean work environment.
Must be able to use a computer or iphone to look up book values, identify or learn to identify books that are popular in the general public, drive a large moving truck (D.O.T. card and drivers license required), lift 60-75 lbs, drive a forklift or learn how to, follow detailed instructions, and abide by safety regulations.
Good time management, communication, mathematical, and organizational skills needed. Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual. Will be required to maintain a positive representation of Booksavers to the general public.
